Paint Can

Paint Can on Cake Central

I've been wanting to make this cake since the moment I saw Getfrosted's amazing paint can cake!! My friend has been painting her house and is totally sick of paint - so, I made her a paint cake!!! I'm sure she'll appreciate the cake - even though she probably never wants to see a can of paint again!! Buttercream frosting with fondant accents. The paint brushes are chocolate made with a mold. Getfrosted - thanks for the inspiration!!

This is BY FAR one of the BEST cakes I have ever seen! WOW! You did an AMAZING job! I will have to look up Getfrosted's cake as well! I have been painting my house for the past few days and could really use a cake like this myself!

What an adorable cake and so clever too. I'm sure your friend will enjoy this paint much more than her house painting! Fantastic.

Sue - it looks amazing! I love the chocolate paint brushes! The wire handle is a great idea ... see you added your own personal touches and improved on it! Thanks for the compliments! ;-D :D ;-D

I used two 4" rounds for this cake. I just needed a small one. You could very easily use 6" rounds - it might take 3 to get the height. I torted each cake and then stacked. Thanks everyone!!!

Excellent excellent job, I too have wanted to try it but it has yet to come up. I hope someday I can and it is even close to yours. I love your paint brushes too.
