In community album: Bridal Shower
My friend was throwing a bridal shower for her niece and wanted a groom cake and a bride cake to match the tux/dress theme. The tuxedo cake is inspired by one that Publix (grocery store) makes. Everything is MMF (chocolate and plain) - my lifesaver! The discoloration is due to the fact that I used cornstarch when rolling the fondant. Next time I'll use Crisco.

What a great cake! It also looks very chocolatey (is that a word?) and delicious!

You make lovely bow ties as this one demonstrates. It looks as though it were tied by an admiring Wife.
