Cake made for a Bob Marley fan. Bob's face is done entirely in buttercream on a fondant plaque. The cake is sprayed with Wilton colour mist to get the red, yellow and green.

Copy away...that's why I post pictures here...I get a lot of ideas here too. I have a projector from Kopykake that projects an image down and I just have to trace really, however, the details of his face were very difficult and I was very happy with the results. You could do a FBCT and it would yield the same result I would think.
