This cake was for my cousin's 3 year old daughter. She saw one of my Dora cakes and said she had to have her own, so this was my variation of my own creation. It had lot's of sparkle and she just loved it. White cake covered in mmf, gumpaste stars and butterfly's.

Can you share how you made the stars and butterflies Please!!!
SLK 4/25/07 at 8:51am
Both are made out of gumpaste. The stars were made with the small or mid sized wilton cutter, I then put a wire through the center and let it dry. The butterfly was made from a wilton butterfly cutter, the butterfly was then shaped with the gumpaste tools sold by wilton and dried in a flower former. I then painted each with super pearl luster dust and lemon extract (or vodka). Good luck.

you did a really great job and I love your bright colors and so many of them. The top tier seems like it is about to fall off the next layer down. I am sure that that is because you put a flared little skirt on it. This is so cute. .
