My first wedding cake for my friend. It was the toughest cake I ever attempted. If you all saw a movie "Because I said so.." that's where my friends idea came from. I hope you all enjoyed looking at poka dot cake.

this is incredible! this cake is what my sister wants me to make for her wedding...any tips?
tip for you is, if you know how to work with fundant, you are in good shape. Other wise premake poka dots and round border aheads of time to safe yourself a hasle. Good Luck to you. :)

Thank you all for possitive comments, it really made me feel good and inspired me to do it again. Because it's my first wedding cake, and yes I had troubles make it, espessially working with fundant. To achieve that black color I have to use half of 1oz. Wilton's black color and 2 1/2 pounds of fundant. It was difficult but I did it.Thank you all for making me feel proud. :D :D :D :) :)
i have not had to use black in fondant...was that shade hard to achieve?

Yes! I saw your cake prior to doing mine - I showed your picture to the bridezilla I worked with. ha,ha...The humidity did mine in - awful! I love your work.
tc4cake, I also had some troubles making mine but after that one I leaned alot for my future cakes. I also saw you cake and I thought it was lovely too.
