I Actually Did It.....the Baby Shower Cake With Fondant Shoes

white cake with lemon curd/bc filling. BC icing and fondant baby shoes I made a week or two ago. So much fun doing this and finally I get to see the shoes on top of the cake! I was so happy. Hopefully the Mom-to-be will like it...this is for a friend of a friend. I hope it is "baby" enough looking.

I think they're darling!! A little bit different design than I've been seeing. Did you make you own pattern or buy it? They look like little girl baby shoes. And realistic the way you did the stitching likelines around the soul. Very cute!

These are darling! I have to make a baby cake soon with shoes on top. I'll be making traditional white shoes, but think I'll incorporate your stitching idea!

Hi Cambo, where did you get the pattern/press or instructions for the traditional baby shoes..I would love to get that.... stitching came from small Wilton wheel..
