Go Hornets!
Our school had to consolodate with a larger school district 2-3 years ago. They have decided as of yet to keep our school open, but we no longer have a football program (sad!!). If any of our students want to play football, they are bused about 20 miles to the other school. This year we have only 3 boys playing. A good friend's son is one of those. She asked me to make her a dozen football cookies that said 'Go Hornets'. She packaged them and gave each boy 4 cookies the day of their first game this year.
I agree! It is sad! However, these cookies are great! Plus the school I went to, our mascot was the hornet! Do you mind if I borrow your idea?
