You've got to be kidding...... I don't think I have as much talent in my whole being as you have in one finger...beautiful job and you're going to go far!

i hope that one day I will be able to make a cake as beautiful as this. It makes me want to be a bride again....I'd pick this cake for sure!

thanks everyone for the nice compliments. I don't think these are secrets but I use a bench scraper instead of spatula on those corners. I iced the top first then apply generous amount of icing all around the sides. Then start on the corners and smooth inward. I guess always start at the corners does the trick.

Well, I'll add that I too think it's amazing! I want to be able to get such square corners!--Any secret to them? Your work is really really beautiful!!!

This is PERFECT! The most perfect square buttercream cake I can think of! The edges are perfect, sides are so smooth, the corner alignment is spot on! EXCELLENT JOB! I am so bad with square buttercream, especially when you have to stack it! Amazing!!!

hi NanaD, I am just a home baker. I love baking but I am new at decorating, only started out since January of this year. I still have a lot to learn and I would love to call myself a professional someday :)
