Baptism on Cake Central

My first attempt at cake decorating. A special gift for my nephew/godson. An italian sponge cake filled vanilla and chocolate patisserie cream, and whipped cream, flavoured with rum, covered in MMF. Decorated in Noah's ark cutouts. Bib, rattle and cutouts made out of Wilton's Fondant and gumpaste mix.

Terrific job-I can't believe it's your first! My son was playing with fondant this week and used the same cutters (he's almost 4). I just love them!

Thanks guys! After learning that a fondant covered cake would run $150-$180 I thought I'd give it a try myself. I learned a lot from the message boards. From the How Do I? and Cake Disasters. The ribbon is hiding a multitude of sins. I need more practice with smoothing out the fondant on the sides.
