Course 1---Dancing Daisy Used In Place Of Rainbow Cake
I've officially become addicted to this site, thanks to my Wilton instructor. I decided to chart my progress with all of you. I made this cake in place of the rainbow cake since it had the same concept of filling in with stars. My almost 3-year-old daughter LOVED it! The colors were hot pink and bright yellow, although the picture doesn't show too well.
great cake...i tried to make this cake myself, but my colours weren't as nice as yours and i ended up decorating it more simply than you did.
I just used the Rose coloring that the pan suggested, but it turned out hot pink and fluorescent pink. It was okay considering my yellow was so bright. I didn't use light corn syrup to dull it down, just added some water, which apparently didn't work!
This is the nicest flower cake I've seen! I love the details you added. Very pretty!
