Thank you for your compliments! I made pearls with fondant and luster dust but the humidity made them slip off the cake. So these are pearls from the store. Since I'm in Hawaii, I always use Mousseline Buttercream from the Cake Bible by Rose Beranbaum. It holds up in humidity and heat. But does not crust.
