Iced in buttercream, imprinted diamond pattern with impression mat, fondant pearls with buttercream pearl border. Pink ribbon picked up colors in brides flowers. The good news is....the bride loved it!

An impression mat is a piece of hard plastic imprinted with a pattern. You place it on the side of the cake, after icing has crusted, and rub the pattern into the icing, either fondant or B/C. I purchased mine at www.earlenescakes.com Thanks to all for the nice compliments!

Pearls are 8mm, made using a pearl mold, then sliced apart and hand rolled and luster dusted.
