12", 8" and 6" square cake, iced in buttercream.  Decorated w/ fondant pearls and gum paste shells (they're kind of hard to see), dusted w/ silver luster dust.  Kind of art deco looking!

I think this is a great design! Are the pearls individually colored and placed on the cake?They are very symmetrically placed! ;-D

Ok, of course I must ask.......how did you get your buttercream so smooth? I can't even get it that smooth with the Viva paper towel method!

Yes, the pearls were all hand rolled, and individually placed on the cake. Thanks for the comments!
