I love this idea, I have a baby shower to do soon, it would be too cute! What kid of stand or support are you using on it?

Cake was made for my new baby godson, hence the detail. I made the stand using stacked cake board and styrofoam circles in between.

Thi is so sweet. You did do a lot of extra details. I love the ribbon on the boards, the cuipcakes are all different, the cute cradle with all of the details on the blanket and flowers, the braided fondant border. Exquisite!

our baby grandson is being christened in a few weeks. Is this difficult to make?

Absolutely not! The 'stand' is made from 5 cake boards glued together, then covered in contact paper. The spaces are styrofoam.
