First attempt at fondant. Learned to mix the color into the wet mixture rather than after having put the completed fondant to chill. My hands were very blue and hurt for days. Some lessons you have to learn the hard way.
First time? Great job! A quick hint about fondant . . . Don't chill it! If it is MMF, store it well wrapped at room temp. And heat it briefly (5-10 seconds at a time) in the microwave to soften up. Your hands will thank you.
