The fairy wings are made from dipping wire into coloured gelatin. mix water and liquid food colouring together then sprinkle gelatin granules onto it. the gelatin will expand and soak up all the liquid and get firm. heat until liquid again then dip the wire wings into it. let them dry and just push them into the back of the fairy.
