Purple Castle Cake
My 2 and 3 year old daughters wanted a purple castle cake for their birthday. So her is what I came up with. It is iced in buttercream and pressed with a textured rolling pin. the turets are made from cake and sugar ice cream cones covered in fondant and dusted with luster dust. all the accents are fondant and the rosebuds and vines are buttercream. The cake itself was purple at my daughters request and filled with bavarian creme.

thanks, yes we cut it and all of the kids at the birthday practically mowed me down trying to get a fondant covered ice cream cone! Most of them didn't even have a piece of cake! The parents all had cake though.
