Thank you all! I used the larger icer tip to put the purple on first in one big stripe all the way around, then the same way with pink on top. Then used a Viva paper towel to gently smooth the seam together.
I used a tiny round cutter then use the pointed end of tip #2 to make the holes and the rounded end to make the inset circle. But it's hard to see from this picture.

The butterflies are fondant. I drew a pattern and cut it out and let dry on a piece of cardboard folded in half to make the bended look.
