In album: gumpaste-flower
This cake was a request only 2 days ago for a work collegues mother who turns 60 tomorrow. She didnt want anything to do with 60 in the cake. She asked that it be half and half cake - baileys choc mud and butter cake, so baked it in 2 tins and put it together. When covered in fondant I could see the strip so I decided to make it into a book and use the organza ribbon as the divider. The flowers are made of gumpaste and they are Australian natives - Proteas - her favourite. I sure hope she enjoys this o
