Fantasy Stripes

Surprise anniversary cake for a friends 21st. 6" and 4" covered w/vanilla fondant, and chocolate and colored fondant stripes...Fantasy flowers are also made w/fondant.

How do you make your ribbon roses? I can never get mine to fan out at the top.

Just pinch the bottom as you go; once done, if you want it to flare more pinch the entire bottom of the flower.
