This is fantastic! Awesome beach theme. I can see that that design would work with many different toppers. This was a nice setting for the cake, too, wasn't it?
Wow!!! that is beautiful~ I have a seashell cake due next weekend, and have been trying to figure out how to make realistic looking seashells, do you think you could help me out? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a bunch~ Julia You can email me at ambria002000@yahoo.com
This is beautifull!!!!! I guess since everyone is asking for advice, I should too LOL please help!! rolda_scott@hotmail.com. I want all the details on the shells!!!
Thanks everyone! The shells are made of white chocolate using molds. Then after they harden up, I take edible powder called "luster dust" and hand decorate each shell using a small make-up brush. Make up brushes work best because they are angled and tend to not lose bristles as much as other brushes. Hope this helps!
I love this cake and I need to make a seashell cake for this weekend. Would you be able to email me the instructions including ho you got the shells to look so real. I would greatly appreaciate it. you can e-mail me at tripal0t21@yahoo.com
