Round Ribbon

This was for a wedding on the 2nd of September. All this girl was set on were the colors, she left the design totally up to me. She was last minute so when she came to order this cake she didn't even taste it. She called me the day after to let me know that when she got to her reception she cried when she saw the cake. She said it was absolutely beautiful and was very impressed.

There is no fondant on this at all. The ribbon is actual ribbon and the ivory beads are craft beads. I sewed the two color ribbons together with a real loose stitch and hot glued the beads to it in as few places as I could get away with. When she first told me her colors were chocolate and pink I wasn't picturing anything turning out nice but I'm very happy with this cake. Thank you for your kind comments!
