I made this for my niece's birthday. I was willing to make her a mermaid but she wanted the doll to play with (can't blame a 4 year old). The cake was a yellow double half-sheet filled with pudding and half strawberries and the other half bananas covered with bc. I used the blue color spray for the water. The rock was made from 1/2 sports ball and iced with colored bc. The coral and ferns were royal icing and cake sprinkles. The shells and starfish were molded colored chocolate. It was good!
