Practice Cake With Faux Fondant Buttercream & Drop Flowers And Leaves on Cake Central

practice cake iced in faux fondant which I probably wouldn't use again...beautiful yesterday..today it looks as though an earthquake hit it..all kinds of small cracks appearing..yikes..tried to resmooth but still looks quite earthquakish...anybody have similar problem?? I am an extremely novice decorator..just about to start course II Taking cake to work on Tuesday..they won't care, they will eat anything. Dozens of drop flowers in 127 and 224.

Add a few drops of vinegar to your icing. It's not enough tobe able to taste but for some reason it prevents the cracking or helps cut down on the number of cracks that you have. Hope this helps.
