wow, really neat!! willing to share how you made those flowers out of fondant? they look like one piece all rolled up?

Kate714- to make the ribbon roses...roll out fondant ~1/4 in. thick and cut 1" to 1-1/2" wide. Fold over lengthwise about 1/3 of the fondant. Tuck corner down to form center and then roll and tuck as you make three revolutions. Sweep the end piece downward and snip off extra fondant. Work with you fingers to get desired finished look. I like these better than plain ribbon roses (without the fold) bc they are fuller and bigger/bolder. Let dry (standing up on cornstarch). Thanks all for your comments

Thanks vovo379! (And everyone else). When I strung the pearls, I made sure the clear thread was super long. After cake was assembled, I literally looped the string right over the cake. I used one of the sets of green bobbles with wire as an anchor so the pearls didn't pull on the cake. When's your BD? We could make it together!!!!!

For this one. You would take the bow off the top and some of the pieces sticking up on the sides and start cutting. I'd serve some of the rolled flowers and decorations with the piece of cake so you don't end up with a pile of "stuff" just laying there when you're done.
