This cake was fun to make. Only hassles were frosting the donut-holes and mixing all the colors. But decorating was the best part! The mom loved it. The candle is store-bought that I piped accents on. Wish I'd used red foil to cover the board. Thanks for looking.

They were freehanded using a very small star tip and #1 & 2 tips as well. I have close-up shots of them if you want to pm me...

The animals are freehand?!?!? WOW, very cute! My friend wants me to make her daughters first birthday cake. The birthday party theme is Baby Einstein. I'm so scared, I've never done a birthday cake. I dont ever bake for myself that often. I think your cake is very cute and hopefully not to hard to imitate. I have until March to practice. Wish me luck. :cry:
