The Cake That Killed Me

The Cake That Killed Me on Cake Central

I've had struggles... but this cake drove me to the very edge of insanity. It is because of this cake... I'm not doing cakes in paradise anymore. (Just say No!) Cake board peeping out. Naughty fondant. If I could've spanked it... it would've been a bright pink cake that day. Chocolate, red velvet, and white almond sour cream cakes. Cream cheese, blackberry, and bc filling. The table that it was standing on wasn't level... I had no more fight left in me and so it was... laughing it's head off in my face.

I have to say I think this cake is incredible!! It looks like it was more than worth all the time and tears you put into it. I love the detailed border on each layer.

This is my absolute favorite combination of colors! It is stunning. I wish my wedding cake would have looked like that all those years ago. It's absulutely beautiful.

Thanks everybody!!! I had a totally different plan on the flower part but when the fondant resisted... I had no choice. The black border is ribbon with another layer of trim... you know... the same stuff that you might use to enhance your throw pillow?? check it out... there's a world of different things you can try if you know you won't have the time or kitchen... lol :D
