This is my first attempt at using a half-ball cake in addition to the main cake. I had a really hard time making the frosting appear smooth. I might have been better off using a star tip for the ball.

You did such a great job on the design, and your borders are perfect! Star's or no star's, this cake is a hit. ;-D

Great job!! love this design. your stitches look good - those are hard to do and your borders are so good!
