Did this cake for my step-daughter's wedding this weekend. They wanted cake sparkles on top and it turned out nice. Hubby fixed the leaning tower of white cake when we got home from the wedding. We worried that bending the top tier holder could break it - not the thing to have happen at the reception! The guests kept remarking that the cake was tilted and going to fall!!

did you mean for it to intentionally be leaning???? I've thought about buying one of those stands.......is the cake too heavy??

on

no, I didn't want it to lean. It just did 'cause I think the cake was too heavy for it. White almond sour cream cake with cream cheese buttercream. After we got home, my husband bent the top tier upward to straighten it. The pic is a little deceptive as the bottom two tiers really didn't lean at all!

thanks for the nice comments! Hubby turned my turn-table while I used my dough scraper to smooth the icing in one quick movement! Worked great!
