Simply elegant. WOuld you mind sharing how you attached the ribbon? The last cake I made I used ribbon but the icing bled thru in some places. again your cake is simply elegant !

I asked the florist to provide me with orchids that had the stems pre-wrapped in florist tape. I then bent florist wire into bobby pin shapes and used them to anchor the flowers in place. It only took one pin per flower.

Thr ribbon was simply attached with a pin secured at the back. It's rolled fondant icing, so there's no bleeding through it. That's a problem for buttercream cakes, but generally not for fondant ones. Not sure why that would happen to you otherwise? :? Thanks for the lovely compliments though!
