Thank you all for your nice comments...I made a special cake board (the black board) with blocks under it, behind the wheels to hold up the cake. the cake itself was placed on an acctual skateboard deck (brand new , in plastic and covered with foil) The deck was bought by the lady that ordered the cake as a gift for her son. She didn't tell him it was a real skateboard untill after they cut the cake (surprise) he thought that was the best gift wrap ever! The wheels were also cake covered in fondant.

I did the flames free hand starting with the black, then red, orange and last gold/yellow Thank you!

Those flames are awesome; they look great with the camo colors! The creative method of display was ingenious!
