First Time With The 2 Tier Mini Pan

First Time With The 2 Tier Mini Pan on Cake Central

Had a devil of a time trying to figure out how to put the fondant on this sucker! :P Ended up doing it by tiers. My fondant was kind of dry, so it cracked in a few places, but I tried to hide those with the fondant drapes. First time doing those, too. Need practice. :P But all in all, I love my new mini-tier pan. Must get more of those, so I can make more at once! :) Thanks for looking!

I think it turned out very well. It is so pretty. I am interested in making some minis. Where did you get your pans and supplies? Thanks.. :)

Thanks, Laurakelly! I'm not thrilled with it, but it's okay for my second try, I think. :P And it was yummy... :D :D :D

mrsmicbau, thanks! I got my mini tier pan from a little cake shop about 20 minutes from my house. I don't think she does mail-order, but I know that there are several places on the web that sell this brand, as well. Just do a search for 'mini tier cake pans', and you should find one. :) If not, PM me, and I'll send you some websites. :)

the mini-cakes are: bottom- 6"x2", the top three are 4"x2", and the mini pan does the top two tiers, and those are 2" and 3" x 2".
