This is a scratch banana cake with fluffernutter frosting (from the fluff cookbook)and live marigolds (which are edible, but noone ate). I love using fresh flowers when they are available. There are so many dark months here, that when nature provides something beautiful, I feel compelled to use it. The flowers are from my garden.

This cake tasted Sooooo Goooood. The frosting was awesome, but hard to get all nice and even and smooth, a little too sticky for that.
