Sunflower Cake
This is my first attempt at a two tier cake I made it for a friend who was having a backyard wedding. The theme was sunflowers. The cake is Marble pound cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. The sunflowers were my first attempt with royal icing and the butterflies on top are rice paper. This cake held up very well for an outdoor midsummer wedding.
