This is my "pretty in pink" cake. I love the way cornelli lace looks but it was killing my hand! So that's why it's a little messy.

What a sweet design! I love it! I know what you mean about the cornelli lace being hard on the hands, I usually have to make separate icing for that and thin it WAY down!
Lovely! But just a bit of advice, all cakes have backs and I would put your base seam in the back. Your roses are wonderful!
Cornelli is one of my favorite techniques to do! Actually, your cornelli, although you think it looks messy, looks really delicate because you used such a small tip! It looks like a fine delicate lace!!! :P
