Disaster In The Making

Well, the top tier of this cake fell apart. Completely split down the center. Granted, I didn't dowel it (mostly because I knew it totally sucked anyway lol)....but yeah. I had an order for a cake like this (different colors and another tier) so this was a practice...but didn't feel comfortable keeping the order as is. So we changed it to regular rounds. I just tossed the Care Bear on top for added decoration cause I think it's cute. :D

Thanks! I do think it turned out cute....but I don't have enough confidence in the shaping/support area for this type of cake yet. :P

I think it is really cute!! I just recently did my first topsy turvy and it was so much harder to do than they look!!

This is too cute! I know the feeling, I would love to attempt the topsy truvy cake but I know mine will fall!
