Mommy To Be..
Here is my "belly cake". I was so excited about trying this one out.. I had a few issues though.. I used it for a Birthday, not a shower.. Second she wanted it to be whipped icing.. I thought this was never gonna work.. Well guess what? It worked out great.. Never had any problems with this cake.. I know my cousin will enjoy this cake, she is very excited about being pregnant and so I just thought this would be perfect. I used cupcakes for the breast and half of round ball pan for belly.

wow .. THANKS!!!! I use whipped icing out of the tub..(cool whip).. I just eye ball it really.. let me see :roll: , I use the 8oz. tubs at a time.. I add 1/3 cup of powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of creme bouquet, 1/2 tablespoon of meringue.. whip it until you see that it is thick, once you try it. You will see exactly how the texture should be.. works everytime! Good Luck Becareful if you have hot hands..keep your bags in the fridge until ready to use.. this will help out.

P.S. You can use what ever extract you want.. Vanilla really dont take the cool whip taste out, try something very strong.. Little at a time..

This has a classy look the way you draped the dress over the edge. Also, the belly came out nice, not looking like a ball!
