I wish I had taken a better picture but my hands were shaking b/c I was so nervous - first wedding cake - had to take it to a restaurant where they didn't really have anywhere to put it - and had to assemble part of it in front of bride & groom & family (small wedding). Anyway, we had candles around the stand which were wrapped w/ gold beads & pearls.... next time I would have bought a bigger cake drum though so that the whole stand was filled and you didn't see the white "lines" of the stand....
