Blue Rose Buds
This was my first attempt at working with gumpaste. I made 50 rosebuds for this cake...I finally go tthe hang of it after about 30 of them. I dried them on toothpicks and when it was time to put them on the cake at the reception, they would not come off the toothpicks!! I had to cut them off and warn the mother of the bride not to let anyone try to eat them. uuuugggghhhh!!!
Rose buds turned out really nice and so did everything else.

Thank you. Forgot to mention this is the second time I've done this cake...first time, I ordered the roses. I think the first one turned out better than this one. It can be found in the Round Wedding Cakes as well, Classic Wedding Cake.
