Trendy Shower Cake
The inspiration for this is from an invitation. The original was a scrapbook style invite. I cut all the diamonds out of MMF and also the top sheet and ribbon. I scored the argyle stitching with the Wilton cutter/ embosser. The base is chocolate fudge buttercream.

That is funny, you all! I personally thought argyle on a cake was totally weird. When my sister called me and asked if I could do argyle I asked her if she was out of her mind! I think it turned out kinda cool, though. Very trendy for the contemporary mom. I'm not the one who made the invitation, though, so no, I don't scrapbook, but I do want to get into the single page scrapbook like wall art.
