This is my first cake! It's chocolate with BC icing and was for my son's first birthday. The icing tasted delicious but was too runny for piping. Jesiah didn't seem to mind. I would love any imput and/or recipes for BC. I live in W. Europe so ingredients are not always easy to come by.
what did you use to make the frosting with?? Shortening or butter?
I used both crisco and butter. I found the recipe on CCC under mom's buttercream icing.
Very cute design, you did a good job. You can add powdered (confectioner's) sugar a little at a time to any frosting to thicken it up.
