I made this cake for my MIL's birthday. She likes the light, whipped icing. First time making the whipped buttercream...I liked it, but she probably likes something closer to cool whip! LOL! I used the petal pan, but it was very hard to keep the shape with the whipped icing. This is a yellow almond cake with cookies and cream filling - but instead of regular oreos, I used the golden oreos. First time making the fondant (MMF) bow...definitely learned a lot!
