I use Satin Ice Fondant. It taste so great and is wonderful to work with. I do use the Wilton brand for decorations because it's a bit less expensive. I've also used the MMF but I find that it's not quite as elastic...taste great though! Do you think I could ask $10 each for the mini's? They are about 4 inches long and 3 inches high.
I do petit fours often, but mine are not nearly as detailed as these. With the intricate work and an individual little wrapped cake plate I would easily charge $10 each. Although, people tend to do less math when you work with an odd number. I would probably charge $9.50 or something like that.
