This was my first real cake I ever made for a special occasion. Elmo transfer using wax paper. Two layer cake. Chocolate and yellow cake filled with chocolate filling. 9x13 This was for my son's birthday and He loved it. Bless his little heart. I forgot to add a top border before the picture.
Sure ok lets see...I had the cake plate as my guide. What I did was put wax paper over the cake plate/napkin ect and traced the picture with a non toxic marker/pencil. If using marker let dry. Then I used a pretty good size of that white styrophone (spelling?) and put the wax papaer on top of it poked the out line of the image with a tooth pick. I placed the wax paper over the crusted buttercream and repoked the holes. Lift the wax paper up and you see a dot to dot affect. You can then outline and fill. ...
