how did you make the handle? I'm trying to do one at the moment and I love the shape you have yours in - what sugar is it?

emmascakes- the handle is actually made from store-bought candy. They are called airheads extreme sour belts. The rainbow strip on the bottom of the purse is what they look like. I took two of those and glued them together with candymelts with a pipecleaner in the middle to form the handle. I found them at Wal-mart.
