Bob Mackie Barbie
this cake was designed for my friends b-day, (50-something), i guess your never too old for a new barbie huh? she collects many of them, including this one with a bob mackie designed gown, which i didnt know she had because its still in the box in storage. all fondant with bc details and yes a lot of tweezer placed, silver and multi-colored non-pereils. placed on a larger quilted pearl studded cake.
Beautiful!
Wow is that really cake? Looks like satin - Amazing work
yes rambo, all fondant, the edges are wet brushed with silver luster
Beautiful cake. It looks like real material.
amazing work
This is beautiful! All that detail must have taken forever.
I love this doll, it's amazingly beautiful
Wow you did a fabulous job. It looks like a real barbie!
well just to clarify it IS a real barbie in the wondermold pan, usually an extra 2 inch layer needs to be put on the bottom to acheive enough height for the doll, but i think those picks are tacky.
All I can say is "Wow!"
This is by far the BEST doll cake I've seen. You did a wonderful job. It came out great!
All I can say is WOW!!

What a gift to give or receive. What I once thought of as a fondant impossibility, will one day be a grand challenge.
this is magnificent! I had to look closely to make sure that it wasn't a real dress.
