Wedding Shower Cake
My first attempt at brush embroidery! The top tier is yellow cake with chocolate bavarian filling, the bottom is yellow cake with raspberry filling. All MMF with royal brush embroidery and the flowers and ribbons are gumpaste, which I'm pretty pleased with....folks thought they were silk, which I took as a compliment!

really pretty. what color blue did you use and did you use a pattern for the embroidery?? Did it take a long time??
The embroidery itself probably took about 2 hours, partially because it's time consuming and partially because it was my first attempt. The fondant is Wilton Cornflower blue into MMF, the embroidery is just plain white royal thinned with piping gel. It was really fun, glad you liked it!
Oh yes, and I did it freehand from a book I have, no pattern. Practiced a lot with mayonaisse on parchment paper first!
