This is my daughters wedding cake I made. It is 5 tier stacked white with bc icing.  She wanted a pink cake and that is what she got. My sis in law did the flowers on the cake (silk) She saved it since I thought it looked awful. My icing was not looking good at all. Got lots of compliments but we are our own workst critics aren't we....

Daughters wedding cake

Thank you so much. My dd did love it and that is all that counts. I think my icing was too dry .

Really lovely. It is such a special thing to be able to do your children's wedding cakes. Something she will remember for the rest of her life.

Beautiful! I know how stressful it is to do a daughters cake, I have done one and have another to do in August...she wants pink too. Yours looks very elegant .

Oh how pretty, you did a wonderful job on your dd wedding cake. Yes so true we are our own worst critics and yes when our children or grandchildren love it, that is all that counts. You did a beautiful cake for your dd & sil.
