Got this idea from browsing here on CC but added a few of my own ideas. Instead of just seashells, I added the pelicansitting on the pilings, lighthouses and seagulls(can't see them in the photo). Iced in buttercream and all decorations are white chocolate molds painted with luster dust.
I was planning on doing the white chocolate shells for a birthday cake for my sister, I've heard some people had trouble painting the chocolate with luster dust, did you put it on dry and how many coats? Thanks!
Thanks for all of your kind comments. Stephanie, I put the luster dust on dry with a small paint brush and didn't have any problems. Just one coat was enough.
