Lily's carousel cake

This was my first tiered cake - my sister had a circus party for my niece and wanted a carousel. I learned ALOT from my mistakes on this cake! I am really proud how it turned out. My sister loved it but more importantly so did my niece - all she could think about was pulling one of the cones off the top to eat! Thanks for looking!

so cute , how did you get the icing to hold up on the cones?

Thanks! Yep - I'm the fav... the ONLY but the fav! lol The icing on the cones was held up by God's hands. I think He held the whole thing up until we sang to her! The buttercream was a little stiff, it had been in the different bags and I combined all the colors into one bag and just started swirling. I stuck sucker sticks down through them into the cake first to keep them standing. Thanks to you both for commenting!
